Iin Pike and San Isabel National Forests near Woodland Park CO - This is on USFS land. A place that I don’t think tourists can easily find - more of a local area that people go to go off roading on Jeeps and mountain bikes. Easily accessible by most cars in May, at least. But 4WD probably is a good idea. Roads aren’t paved, but we’re fine for our Subaru Outback pulling a teardrop trailer. When we were here, there were only 5 other people camping out in this area, and we all had nice space. But at this GPS spot, it doesn’t support that many vehicles. This park may have many more options.
