Silver Bridge

Lee Creek in Ozark–St. Francis National Forest near Chester AR - This place is nestled in the Ozarks. It is all free but you need to get there early before all the good spots are taken. This place is a weekend go-to for everyone that lives in the nearby towns and it gets up to 200 people a day. We couldn’t keep count. There are no restrooms or dumpsters so bring a shovel and biodegradable TP along with your trash bags to clean up after yourself. Although it has no utilities for the yuppie campers, this spot has a huge rock formation that is up to 20Ft tall and the natural spring fed water is plenty deep to jump into. Also smaller cliffs for the little ones! Just across the bank there is also a rope swing that is pretty neat. Natural damn isn’t too far from this spot ether and is a fun place to see with some history. Lastly you can pack up and head north on HW 220 and you’ll run right into Devils Den State Park where there are over 12 miles of hiking, caves and a lot more. We took our two kids on our first family camping trip here and it could not have gone better!!
