Ottawa National Forest near Trout Creek MI - It is about 2 miles off of M-28. There are 6 free campsites in this campground. They have drop toilets as well. Very quiet, clean, and you can hear the Sparrow Rapids because they are pretty close. I dove here in my rear wheel drive GMC Savana with no problems at all. It goes from paved to gravel roads to get back here.
