Tahoe National Forest near Olympic Valley CA - Barker pass road is paved, it leads to dozens of dirt roads and even more dispersed camping. This zone is also accessible via the Rubicon Trail with an off road vehicle. <br />Editor's note: Cannot verify the spot, but there appears to be camping along this road.
