Coconino National Forest near Flagstaff AZ - Lots of pull out spots along S Cosnino Rd. S Cosnino Rd is a dirt, well groomed road and can be access by any vehicle type. Some of the pullouts have longer roads with camping spots all along them. Some spots I would recommend only accessing with 4WD vehicles with high clearances but there are a variety of options. Most of the spots have tree coverage and some have fire pits. It is National Forest Land so free camping for up to 14 days. Verizon cell service works well here.<br /><br />Oct 2023: Due to the fire in this National Forest the area has been closed down to overnight camping.
