A superb, hidden boondocking site, just downstream (west) of the Red Bank Campground (also free) <br /> <br />If you are traveling west on Sawyers Bar Road, it’s a sharp left about 1/2 mile past the Red Bank CG. A 1/4 mile dirt road leads to a large flat area (with a couple of fire rings) right along the NF Salmon <br /> <br />In summer, it’s a beautiful swimming hole.
