Wonderful spot for quiet night. National grassland area with lots of quiet spots to pull off dirt road for the night. Desolate with the Texas big sky. Very quiet and seemingly isolated yet just 10-minute drive from hwy 81 / 287. Google map may try to route you via (gated / closed) private roads. You should access via 2690 and FS908.
