Asphalt parking area

Boondocking<br />This a an asphalt parking area for non- motorized recreation. Surrounded by tall pines. It is at the end of about 1/4 mile or less of paved road off of I-90, exit 28, 4th of July Pass. <br />Cross-country skiing, hiking and horseback riding. It has 2 vault toilets but no designated parking, water, tables, etc. <br />No perfectly level spots but also no steep areas that are hard to level. <br />Plenty of area for large RVs to turn around or park. We had a 34’ trailer with no issues. <br />We were the only over night rig. We had the occasional car stop to use the toilet or take a short nap as well as a few hikers out for a couple of hours. Also had a horse group out for a sunset ride. Quiet overall, with occasional truck noise from the interstate - we really didn’t notice it. <br />Park on the west or SW side for afternoon shade.
