Site Details

Hoosier National Forest

Small, flat, circular gravel pull through in the Hoosier NF. A few fire rings. Definitely primitive. No amenities. The site is wooded and there is a small pond just down a short trail. Very quiet and although only 25 yards from S Oglala Horse Camp Rd, which is a dirt road, almost no traffic. It’s a National Forest, so camping here is free. You could pull a larger rig in here but I doubt you could swing the circle. You’d have to back out.

Level of confidence the site is free: Certain - Confirmed with a sign or by owner / agency / website.
Toilets nearby: None
4X4 or high clearance required: No
Cell service available: AT&T
Park pass or permit required: No
Showers nearby: No
Potable water nearby: No
Type of property: USFS (US Forest Service
