Off Furnace Creek Wash Road (aka Greenwater Valley Road). Dirt road off of Dante’s View Road. Dispersed camping allowed at least one mile down dirt road per the ranger at Death Valley NP Visitor Center at Furnace Creek. Accessible by SUV, crossover, or smaller Class B with decent clearance. Road has heavy washboard but no major obstacles. There are a few pull out areas where others have camped just past the one mile mark. This is remote wilderness camping, no water, no toilets, follow Leave No Trace principles.
