Beautiful USFS campsite with 18 designated sites. Many sites overlook the Rio Chama river a few yards away. Trees abound for hot summer days. Road is a bit rough getting here in some spots and the sites are not really long enough for a large RV. Clean vault toilets. The road ends about 1.8 miles at a monastery. On the way here you cross the CD Trail. We parked there and walked along it for a few miles. There are a few other camping locations on the way here, but this is the best and least crowded.
