Stayed here about a year ago and it was OK. Hard to find a level site if you have an RV. Can get busy on the weekends. Hot in the summer. <br />The road in is Gravel. There are 16-29 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is any size. You may stay 3 nights at Water canyon BLM. Fire Ring, Restrooms, Near Water, Bike Trails, Hiking Trails, Horse Trails. <br /> <br />From the website: Rising almost 2,000 feet above the town of Winnemucca, secluded Water Canyon is one of the premier recreation areas in Northern Nevada and offers a rugged, picturesque setting along the canyon's upper reaches and a lush riparian area of cottonwood and aspen trees along the stream at the canyon bottom. Managed by the BLM-Winnemucca Field Office, this area offers sites for overnight camping, picnics, hiking, biking and even limited ATV use, all at no charge to visitors. The BLM has installed campfire rings, grills, trails, shelters and information kiosks all in an effort to improve one of Winnemucca's closest recreational opportunities.
