Spent two nights in the Casino parking lot. There were others. It was nice. Really close to the action. <br /> <br />Level of confidence the site is free: Most likely - Site is on public lands. <br />Toilets nearby: None <br />4X4 or AWD required: No <br />Cell service available: AT&T <br />Park pass or permit required: No <br />Showers nearby: No <br />Potable water nearby: No <br /> <br />July 2022: The (Harrahs) casino is under construction. There is no parking for trailers or motor homes. And there is no acceptable exit. We had to make a 30 Pt turn to get out. We were directed to Hard Rock for free parking. It is now gated and $30 to park overnight. We were lucky, it was Monday and not busy so we paid and parked. We have a newer 25’ TT. <br />Addition <br />Hard Rock will no longer allow RV overnight. Even after we paid $30. It is apparent that S Lake Tahoe is not RV friendly for boondockers or travelers passing thru. Beware. <br /> <br />Editor note: As with any store parking lots, ALWAYS check with the manager of the store first.
