There is a “No Camping” sign posted but an overnight in-vehicle stopover was not challenged. A modest-sized gravel parking area shows little use. Pit toilets are provided. Trails and boardwalks offer access to a sometimes marshy area for bird- and wildlife-watchers. The lake is right across the road and flocks of migrating or resident waterfowl were always present.
