Pine Ridge area. USFS land. Recommended by Chadron State Park employee as free boondocking. “Use the [National Forest] entrance south of the Job Corps facility and park anywhere.” Beautiful area, totally private. No one else in sight. Great forest service roads. Need to be a little careful where you pull off because most of the road has ditches on either side. Signs posting that you need to stay close to the road. We are in a 4-wheel drive Sprinter van but you wouldn’t need 4-wheel drive. Free fresh water and dump station at Chadron SP a couple miles away.
